Read Local at one go... some themes running in the book were so real... Akash's rootlessness, his need to surrender to motion, get engulfed by the sight and sound around to numb inner chaos, and finally a need to view life with a detatchment of a transit passenger....this book stays with me... like the sound of the engine in the head... long after you have gotten off from the train...like motion merging with inertia.. long after the journey is over...
Yeah I agree. Local should be read at one go...maximum 2 sittings, but you never want to put it down once you start it. Pretty much like Jack Kerouac's On the Road.
